Dating from the Late 18th Century, this George III copper water warming urn is very much in the Neo-Classical taste having a stepped domed lid with urn finial, the main body with lion handles supported on a spreading circular base with stepped square plinth with reeded decoration to the edges, on bun feet.
A very gracefuladdition to the home with its fine purity of Neo-Classical simplicity. A beautiful example of Late Georgian design at its most elegant.
