A large and impressive alabaster amphora-style lamp set upon a hand-forged wrought iron stand, c. 1930s. The top of the urn comes off to allow for easy changing of the lamps bulb, and as shown the vase is deep enough to be used as a vessel for flowers.
 
This beautiful and unique piece when lit up casts an etheral warm glow that illuminates the natural pattern of the alabaster exceptionally. s
